12th June 2009 for the first time Eurocontrol Turkish Day had been celebrated in Brussels capital of Belgium.
In previous June this year for the first time Eurocontrol Turkish Day had been celebrated in Brussels. The householder of the ceremony had been made by the Eurocontrol General Manager McMILLAN and Turkish Employees in Brussels. From Turkey; DHMİ General Manager Mr. Orhan BİRDAL, as representative for ATM Dalaman Airport Operation Manager Mr. Okan ASLAN and other private management Terminal representatives were participated, and by setting a stand at the ceremony they contributed presentation of our country.
DHMİ General Manager Orhan BİRDAL thanked all Turkish employees working for and sharing the improvement of Eurocontrol and wished continuation of their success. He said that this kind of activities purpose to establish the aviation and tourism associations of our country to Eurocontrol personnel and to the public, and also to refresh Turkiye knowledge in the memories.
Also Eurocontrol General Manager Mr. McMILLAN said in his speech;
During his General Manager time this would be his first joining such an activity. This kind of activities bring communities closer and together , and ended his speech by thanking everybody who made the effort to realize this activity, who made a contribution and to the friends who invited them.
