Manny FONTENLA , CEO of Thomas Cook, a well-known English Airline Company and Hamdi Güvenç, General Manager of ATM and the member of Directors' Board became together at a distinctive meeting held in Fethiye on January 14 2010.
The efforts to be spent in common by the purpose of making the efforts more effective in the following season were discussed. From Thomas Cook Company, it was stated that the changes made in the schedules of 2010 by DHMI were made them happy; the promotional support plans were put in the agenda of the Ministry of Tourism via the London Tourism Under-secretary.
A Turkish committee consisting of Hamdi Güvenç, ATM General Manager and member of the Directors' Board, as well, visited the Tourism Exhibition held in Manchester, where is the second English destination sending the passengers at most to Dalaman after London Gatwick, on 15-16-17 January 2010. Özgür Aslan, Deputy Undersecretary of Promotional activities of Ministry of Tourism, İrfan Önal, Tourism Consultant of London, Ahmet Deniz, Head Official of Dalaman acting on behalf of Governor of Muğla and Hamdi Güvenç, ATM General manager and member of the Directors' Board participated in a meeting held with the managers of Thomas Cook Company in their Manchester office. In the meeting, some significant presentations underlining the importance of Dalaman destination were made mutually by the managers of Thomas Cook Company and Hamdi Güvenç, ATM General Manager and member of the Directors' Board.
During the exhibition held in Manchester, ATM Dalaman Airport took the part in the booth of Tourism Infrastructural Services Association of Muğla Governor; it was observed that the passenger potential of Manchester was improving pleasingly and the tourist potential around Glasgow could also be directed to Dalaman upon the efforts to be spent soon as a result of various meetings and mutual discussions.
Participated in a meeting organized by Ralf TECKENTRUP, CEO of Condor Airlines, as the subsidiary of Thomas Cook Company in Frankfurt on January 18 2010 thus it was seen that our common efforts spent for Dalaman Destination together with Thomas Cook reached the estimated target as a result of this meeting.
The essential steps were taken to make Dalaman's flight schedule of Thomas Cook more intensive consequentially in scope of the arrangements made simultaneously including the discounts applied in DHMI's schedules by the organization of ATM Airport and the promotional supports of Ministry of Tourism.
