DALAMAN
30 million dollars additional credit for Dalaman Airport

01.08.2006

ATM Airport Management, Inc., who increased its investment in Dalaman International Terminal to 150 million dollars, took out an additional 30 million dollars credit.

The agreement for the 30 million dollar credit obtained from the DVB and Vakıfbank consortium under the leadership of the German Hypo-Vereinsbank (HVB) was signed yesterday.

Hüseyin Arslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ATM Airport Management, Inc., pointed out that they had previously used 120 million dollars of credit for the new Dalaman Airport International Terminal which took 2 years to build and was put into service at the beginning of July, and added that the amount of credit which reached 150 million dollars with the additional credit was based entirely on project warranty.

Remarking that an airport hotel would be built and runways and taxi stops would be renewed with the additional credit at the Dalaman Airport International Terminal, the passenger services capacity of which had been increased to 10 million passengers, Arslan declared that the management rights of the terminal that was for 7 seasons, had gone up to 9 seasons with the investment of the additional credit.

Arslan, explaining that ATM, which is a joint venture of Aksa, Turkuaz and Manas companies, had previously built an international airport in Kazakhstan, said that Dalaman was their first airport management in Turkey.

The 30 million dollar credit will be paid back in 8 years, with no payment over the first two.
