New rules to protect you against the new threat of
liquid explosives are adopted.
The new rules apply from January 1, 2010 on all
Turkish airports.
The permitted amount of liquids, aerosols and gels
in hand luggage is restricted.
Rules for liquids in your hand
luggage
You can only take liquids, aerosols and gels in containers of no more than 100 milliliters These containers must be carried in a transparent plastic bag. Volume of this resealable plastic bag must not be more than 1 litre per passenger.

You can still carry liquids in your check-in bags.
New rules only affect hang luggage.

All tax-free liquids purchased at the airport duty-free
shops located beyond the passport control or on
board airlines is permitted:
If these liquids have been placed in a special sealed plastic bag with the receipt.If the seal on the bag has not been broken. If these liquids were purchased on the day of the flight.
